1979년 창설 이후, 우리 학과는 단순한 '일본어 교육'을 넘어 일본의 사회·문화·경제·정치를 입체적으로 이해하는 지역 전문가 양성에 집중해 왔습니다. 언어를 배우는 것이 아니라, 일본을 읽고 해석하고 연결하는 힘을 키우는 것이 우리 학과 45년 간 이어온 교육의 본질입니다.
지금, 우리는 달라지고 있습니다
2025년, 일어일문학과는 많은 변화를 이루어 냈습니다.
생성형 AI를 활용한 차세대 일본어 수업, 현장 중심 PBL 학습, 일본 취업 특강 및 1:1 멘토링, 국제교류 확대까지 — 미래형 일본어 역량을 갖춘 인재를 키우기 위한 실천적 교육 모델을 시도했습니다.
2026년에는 한 걸음 더 나아갑니다. 해외 필드워크와 일본 취업 실무 세미나를 정례화하고, 학생 스스로가 기획하고 실행하는 프로젝트형 교육 환경을 구축하였습니다. 학생은 더 이상 학습자가 아닙니다. 변화를 이끄는 실행자입니다.
우리가 기다리는 사람
일본을 단순히 '공부'하는 것이 아니라, 일본을 통해 새로운 가치를 창출하고 싶은 사람. 변화하는 국제사회에서 자신만의 역할을 찾고 싶은 사람.

1979年のキャンパス設立以来、本学科は単なる「日本語教育」を超え、日本の社会・文化・経済・政治を多角的に理解する地域専門家の育成に力を注いできました。言語を学ぶだけでなく、日本を読み解き、解釈し、つなぐ力を養うこと——それが本学科45年にわたる教育の本質です。
今、私たちは変わり続けています

We are delighted to welcome you to the Department of Japanese Language and Literature at Dongguk University WISE Campus.
45 Years of Bridging Korea and Japan Through Expertise
Since our founding in 1979, our department has gone far beyond conventional Japanese language instruction. We have remained committed to cultivating regional specialists who understand Japan in its full depth — its society, culture, economy, and politics. More than teaching a language, we develop the ability to read, interpret, and connect with Japan. That has been the essence of our education for 45 years.
Now, We Are Evolving
2025 marked a year of significant transformation for our department.
From next-generation Japanese classes powered by generative AI, to field-ba sed PBL learning, Japan career seminars, one-on-one mentoring, and expanded international exchange — we launched a forward-looking, practice-driven educational model designed to cultivate professionals ready for tomorrow.
In 2026, we go further. We are establishing overseas fieldwork and Japan employment seminars as regular programs, and building a project-ba sed learning environment where students lead, plan, and execute. Our students are no longer passive learners. They are the ones driving change.
The Person We Are Looking For
Someone who doesn't just want to study Japan, but wants to cr eate new value through Japan. Someone who wants to carve out their own role in an ever-changing international landscape.
